Just when you think that you might have snuck under the radar as all of your friends and not to mention family, have passed the cold around.  You wake up feeling like you have been hit, dragged and left on the side of Route 66 by a Mack truck.

I knew eventually I would get it, any mom who has sick babies gets coughed, sneezed and noses wiped all over her while caring for them.

I just wish I looked this cute feeling this terrible.

Happy Monday Sweets!!!

I love Moroccan Oil products.  I got shampoo, conditioner and treatment all in this fun case.  I also got Straight Sexy Hair seal and shine spray.  I love the finished look this gives to my hair.

While I was there I grabbed these fun sleek stick nail stickers that are uv cured.  I will do another post on those.

These are the polishes that I picked up by essie.

Lovie Dovie, Who’s She Red, Like to be Bad, Kisses and Bises, Who is the Boss, Midnight Cami and Cascade Cool.

At checkout they threw in a sample of Matrix Biolage hydratherapie creme mask.  I love free samples.  Look for more NOTD posts with these colors.

Miss Stoeger, I would just like to say that physical education in this school is a disgrace. I mean, standing in line for forty minutes is hardly aerobically effective. I doubt I’ve worked off the calories in a stick of Carefree gum.

Is this like a Noxzema commercial or what?

Ok, so I was actually watching this movie the other night.  It really brings back memories of the 90′s.  Mini skirts, baby tees and thigh highs.  Clueless is still one of my favorite movies.  I can recite pretty much the entire movie, so when I saw Wildfox’s Clueless inspired lookbook, I knew that  I had to do a blog post on it.  I thought Wildfox did a wonderful job recreating the movie through their photos, from Tai’s plaid, to Cher’s famous yellow jacket and mini skirt.  Brings out the teenage girl in all of us.

Happy Monday Dolls!!!

First I rounded up my polishes and picked out OPI Kiss On The Chic and Butter London West End Wonderland along with a good base and top coat.  I like to use a nail strengthening base coat since my nails are really soft and a quick drying top coat.

After I shaped and buffed my nails I applied my base coat

After a few minutes of letting that dry, I applied two coats of my pink color.

I made sure to let my nails dry to the touch before applying the gold color.

Here I used a smaller brush from my Bundle Monster brush kit that I purchased a while back from here since it made for better control to fill in the half moons of my nails.  Then I put a really good coat of a fast drying top coat to seal it in.  I forgot that picture, but you get the idea.

Here is the finished look.  I think I will be wearing this look for a while, it is perfect for the few holiday parties we still have this season.

My next mission was to find something to help organize all my makeup so I went to check Marshalls where I found this cute little clear 6 compartment organizer.  It is perfect as it can sit out flat or if you want, you can stack them up.

After I returned home I went straight to my make up basket.

This is the before….

What a mess!  It is amazing I was ever able to find anything in there.  After I took all of the makeup out of the basket, separated everything into individual groups of lips, eyeshadows, powders, blushes, etc, threw away the old makeup that should have been tossed a while ago, I got to the after…..

I wanted to keep my brushes separate and also have a cute way of storing them so I found an old vase and gave it a new purpose.

Now I can find everything easily and have just what I need and use in front of me all nice and organized.

What a year 2012 was for me.  Many opportunities for traveling, to Las Vegas for a girls weekend, the beautiful Oregon Coast, Southern California (which I am still not sure how my family was ever able to get me back home), and our annual trip to Northern California (I absolutely love San Francisco).  New friendships were made and old ones that grew stronger.  A business that was brought to me and a dear friend of mine that we never saw coming or where we are at with it today.  So many blessings over the last year.  I am excited to see what 2013 has in store for me.

Happy Monday, Dolls!

Fast forward a few years later until just last week when I ran into a friend at an estate sale.  This awsome friend loves vintage junk just as much as I do.  Although, she has earned her title a little more than myself, (more on that later).  When she mentioned that she has a space at Junk Salvations Show this coming weekend, she just happened to need some things that I happen to have and she asked me if I would like to do the show with her.  Needless to say I am doing my first Vintage Show!!!  I am beyond excited, I have officially become a Craigslist stalker now that I am on the hunt for certain pieces.  Mr Blonde is now at peace with his OCD extremely organized garage being taken over with utter randomness knowing it will soon be leaving in comfort zone, and the littles are excited when I bring home newly found treasures.  They sure know how to claim things with the best of them.
